Hawzah News Agency- the second anniversary of the passing of the distinguished university Professor Emad Afroogh was held in a ceremony hosted by Baqir al-Ulum University (PBUH) and attended by a number of researchers and professors of the seminary and the university, with his family in attendance, in the Shahid Beheshti Hall of Baqir al-Ulum University (PBUH).
Dr. Emad Afroogh was an Iranian writer, sociologist, university professor, and conservative politician. He was a representative of Tehran in the Iranian parliament in the seventh term and the head of the parliament’s Cultural Commission. He died on the morning of Friday, April 15, 2024, at the age of 65, due to a heart condition resulting from complications of cancer.
